Trust me, I'm your friend

Lovely weather we're having lately, isn't it? Get a bit of rain and my food comes to me without my having to go hunting for it, it's wonderful being a frog, Ribbit!!! Of course, I expect that some of you will have been suffering again with flooding, but since the answer to your woes lies in the lap of the gods, I doubt that anything has been done to make the run-off of water that easier. It's far simpler to give money to the investors, than to have to pour it into the infrastructure. Please a few, never mind the rest, eh? Croak!!!

Don't you think that it's odd that your Labour party should seem to want to let everything slid into oblivion, rather than to actually put things to rights? And what about that mister Cameron? What can you do with someone who thinks that the poor, people who are fat, alcoholics and those who take drugs, only have themselves to blame for their situation. Fine! But whilst I would agree about those in the last two categories, being poor is usually due to a set of unfortunate circumstances this class of people find themselves in. It's also a fault brought about by all those tight-fisted employers who insist on paying less than the minimum wage, plus those uncaring government ministers who think that the law is only there to protect those who can afford it. There again, since Cameron represents the Tory party, can we expect anything else from such a man? Croak!!!

In view of what the media have said about the British and the food they waste, let me tell you something about one particular Briton, Bob. According to the news, you lot throw away about eight pounds worth of food every week of the year, probably a darned sight more during the festive season. That said, Bob wastes probably less than twenty pence worth of food stuff per week. Since this is the case, then those among you who do the same, will be wondering, who is throwing my seven pounds eighty pence worth away if I'm not? Bob, who lives on his pension, simply cannot afford to throw good food into the bin. Croak!!!

This reminds me of something else, according to the media, the average person living here in Briton today, is in debt and owes about thirty-thousand pounds. I don't know about you, but Bob is wondering who has his thirty-thousand pounds worth of debt? It appears that some of you have greater debts than you'd care to admit to the rest of us. Croak!!!

Here's something that really annoys Bob. Why is it that everyone in this country believes every single word the media prints or says? When they tell you to jump, you always ask, How High? Can't you humans ever think for yourselves? Do you never question anything that's said to you on the TV news, or printed in the papers? Look at that news item about Avian Flu last year for example. They said that thousands of you were going to die... Seems odd to me, but didn't that piece of news blow itself away in the wind? Does it never occur to any of you, that the media specializes in sensationalizing the news, otherwise it simply isn't newsworthy? Ribbit!!!

Bob told me about all this terrible news concerning those who go out at night looking to knife someone. Well, at one time, long ago, such behaviour would not have been tolerated. The law would have stepped in and punished anyone even so much as being found carrying a lethal weapon, but not any more. It seems that these people have more rights than their victims do, and why, it's because those mamby-pambies in human rights organizations say; that thou shalt not punish, physically or otherwise, anyone found disrespecting another, even when they have murder in mind. No wonder human society is up the creek without a paddle. Croak!!! Beware of anyone who says to you; Trust me, I'm your friend.

That's all for this week, take care... It's not all bad news. ;)
